2025 SEARADO Board Meeting

On the 25th of April, SEARADO had its Board meeting with a full attendance together with the Operations Points of Contacts of some NADOs, World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) representatives and the Japan Anti-Doping Agency (JADA), SEARADO's MoU partner.
Apart from the updates from WADA and SEARADO, there was sharing by JADA on a decade of collaboration and support; sharing by Anti-Doping Malaysia (ADAMAS) on the following: Social Science Research Symposium done in 2024; formation of an Athlete Commission in ADAMAS and an upcoming symposium on Anti-Doping and Sports Integrity. There were also sharing sessions by the Lao National Anti-Doping Organisation (LAONADO) and the Vietnam Anti-Doping Agency (VADA) on their achievements through a MoU with the Doping Control Agency of Thailand (DCAT) and the China National Anti-Doping Agency (CHINADA) respectively.

SEARADO also had the opportunity to hear from the guest speaker, Prof Nathinee Panvisavas, Director of the National Doping Control Centre (NDCC), Mahidol University, who provided an overview of services provided by the laboratory and great tips to ensure processes such as shipping goes smoothly. SEARADO would also like to thank Dr Hilary Inwood, Deputy Governor of Sports, Thailand for gracing the occasion and Mr Nuttavuth Ruangvech, National Olympic Committee of Thailand representative for his presence and support for Clean Sport.
