SEARADO invited to speak in a Joint Workshop in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur

On 26 February 2020, a joint workshop was organised by the University of Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) and the University of Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) for healthcare professionals.

Mr Gobinathan, DG SEARADO, was invited as a speaker to share on the revised World Anti Doping Code and International Standards, the UNESCO convention, and the list of banned substances in sports. Other speakers include Dr. Wong Jyh Eiin from UKM who covered on supplements and Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Taufik Jamil, Associate Professor & Consultant Public Health Medicine Specialist Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), who spoke on Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE). The afternoon session then addressed how health professionals can play a part in the fight against doping.
